These terms govern use of the Sieve service, dashboard and API. Enterprise clients’ signed agreements take precedence where they differ.
The service
Sieve provides decision support for fraud prevention, transaction monitoring and sanctions screening. Decisions, scores, screening results and AI-generated summaries are recommendations. Your institution remains responsible for its decisions about customers, for its regulatory reporting, and for how it configures rules and thresholds.
Your responsibilities
- Send only data you are entitled to process, with an appropriate lawful basis and customer notice.
- Keep API keys and dashboard credentials secure, and enable two-factor authentication before using live keys.
- Do not use the service to discriminate unlawfully, to test it against other institutions’ systems, or to attempt to access data that is not yours.
Fees
Usage-based plans are billed monthly in arrears at the published prices in US dollars. Test-mode usage is free.
Your data
You own your data. You can export it at any time, and we delete it at the end of your agreement after any retention period you have asked us to observe.
Liability
No fraud-prevention system catches every fraud or never flags a legitimate customer. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited as set out in your order form or, for self-serve plans, to the fees paid in the twelve months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, unless your agreement specifies otherwise.
